Gadgetloop.com is looking for 5 talented gadget bloggers make it the world's No#1 Gadget Site. Founder, Arnold Aranez, has 5 years of experience running a multi-million dollar online gadget store (www.mrgadget.com.au), is a five-figure blogger and social media advocate. He's looking to consolidate on his experience and form an amazing gadget writing team.
Gadget blogger candidates are expected to be tech / web savvy with at least 6 months blogging experience with WordPress. Social media (SU & Digg) users will have an advantage.
For starters, remuneration will be in the form of Google Adsense sharing with bonuses for exemplary performance. As the site builds up and advertising revenues increase, other reward options will be made available. This is a fresh new site. The first five are anticipated to grow into editor roles as the blog grows.
Responsibilities:
- Blog one post per day (quality post 150-250 words with one image)
- Respond to comments and interact with gadget community
- Report to Chief Editor
Mandatory Skills:
- Superb writing skills (grammar, spelling and sentence structure). English first language preferred.
- Witty writing style: no bland or ordinary blog posts on this site
- Knowledge and experience of RSS readers (Googlereader)
- WordPress blogging experience: Version 2.6
- Tech / Web savvy
- Demonstrate SEO knowledge particularly applying to individual posts
- Demonstrate ability to source the latest gadget news
- Must be team player
- Excellent communication skills
Desirable:
- WordPress developer / customiser abilities (PHP, CSS, HTML, MySQL)
- Editor abilities
- Community contacts for gadget reviews
