We are looking for a writer expert on wheelchair usage, wheelchair lifestyle, and wheelchair technology to create content for an online publication directed to wheelchair users.
This person should know the technical aspects of wheelchairs, powered and manual mobility, pressure and posture care, and technical aids—additional topics: sports, education, employment, travel, and entertainment.
Ideally, the candidate would be a wheelchair user or a professional (e.g., occupational therapist) who regularly works with wheelchair users.
We want articles to be very sincere, positive, and useful. That is why we require that applicants are wheelchair users or very close to people that are.
The content will consist of informational articles (e.g., "How-to" / "What-is" pieces), product reviews (e.g., Wheelchair X Review), round-ups, listicles, news, opinion, guides, etc.
The project will take 4 to 6 months, with the possibility of working with us on our next projects after that.
The position will pay $2,000 per month.
The content required for the month would range between 33,000 and 50,000 words (depending on the difficulty of the topics covered).
