Asia Markets is a rapidly expanding financial news publication. We deliver our audience stock market and economic news and guides with a focus on (but not limited to) the Asia Region.

We are seeking to add an additional freelance journalist to our editorial team.
The freelancer will have a high level of freedom and autonomy to write about the stories they think matter most, within the scope of the following:
- U.S.-listed Chinese stocks (Think Alibaba, JD, Baidu etc).
- Economic and geopolitical news relating to the Asia region.
- Canvassing Chinese and U.S. social media for interesting stories and viewpoints that can become great articles.
- Interesting developments surrounding Meme stocks, short squeezes and the U.S. stock market.
- Investing guides.
The right applicant
- Will have a sound understanding of financial and economic concepts.
- Will have a genuine interest in financial markets and enjoy trawling social media for different views and news.
- Will have excellent English spelling a grammar.
- Chinese language skills would be desirable but certainly not a must (only one other person on our team has Chinese language skills).
- Be reliable and proactive.
