We are looking for experienced e-commerce writers who can transform a small amount of information into a fully-fledged, highly marketable product listing page for pet-related merchandise that sells.
We are focused on cat furniture and accessories. Our core market targets pet parents who want to spend a bit more on their animals in exchange for high-quality products that are aesthetically pleasing to both animal and owner.
Experience in the pet market is appreciated but not essential. What’s most important is that you can easily take minimal details and photos of a new product that you’ve never seen or held and create strong copy that makes potential buyers go from mildly curious to official customers.
You won’t be given too much to go off (roughly 50 words), which is why creativity and the ability to navigate effortlessly between mild obscurity and salesmanship while avoiding assumptions are key.
We’ve got dozens, potentially hundreds of product descriptions that need to be written, length ranges from 250-350 words.
We need someone who can write at least 20-25 per week, up to 10,000 words every 7 days. This gig is currently measured in weeks but could be extended to monthly deadlines.
We are looking for dedicated freelancers with opportunities for long-term work with our company and other ad hoc projects.
You’ll be paid weekly. Rate will start at .05/word for a paid trial article. Final rates will be based on experience and performance in trial.
