Description
If you are passionate about helping people save money, love finding great deals, and are ready to join a team where standards are high and you can shape your own role, Brad's Deals is looking for you. As part of the Brad's Deals editorial team, you'll be at the core of our business: helping consumers make smarter buying decisions by finding and posting the best deals available online every day.
We are looking for deal hunters with expertise in one or more of the following categories. We are particularly looking for editors with expertise at least one of the starred categories:
- Women's apparel and shoes
- Men's apparel and shoes*
- Baby/Kids' apparel, gear, and toys*
- Electronics
- Home (kitchen, bed and bath, decor, appliances)
- Home improvement/tools*
- Automotive (supplies, not cars)*
- Patio, lawn, and garden
- Sports, fitness and camping
- Gifts and flowers
This position includes:
- Identifying and publishing amazing deals in your areas of expertise.
- Acting as a gatekeeper for the content on our site.
- Analyzing the current and historic performance of deals through data and using that insight to inform the decisions you make.
- Contributing and curating content for category and collection pages.
- Working cross-departmentally to evolve our service across all channels (website, app, email, etc).
Job Requirements
- Relevant experience (can be professional or personal) that makes you a shopping expert in one or more category.
- A knack for online shopping and consumer behavior.
- A keen awareness of popular trends, products, and brands within specific verticals.
- The ability to produce accurate copy in Brad's Deals voice and self-edit in a fast-paced publishing environment.
- Ability to work an atypical schedule that will involve regular weekend and/or evening work on a permanent basis. This is not a standard 9-5 role.
