Description
I have a very young and so far basic website in the freelancing/business niche, www.sophicalcontent.com. It started as a passion project and I wish to grow it further to become a useful blog for people looking to start a business of their own.
I’m based in the UK, but note that I plan to make the blog both accessible and useful for people across the world and so you don’t need to be based in the UK yourself. However, it is essential that you speak English natively, and have excellent writing skills.
I’ll provide the outline for each article, with keywords to include and the headings/structure to use. Awareness of basic SEO is useful, but more important are your research and writing abilities.
You will be required to proofread your own work, and I will run all articles through a plagiarism checker.
What I need:
Someone that can commit to producing articles of varying lengths at a rate of 3000-5000 words per week over the next 4-6 months
Someone happy to communicate via email and ideally using Word documents
Someone happy to work at a rate of $0.02/word, paid weekly via PayPal
Ideally someone with a background in freelancing/the world of business in general, but the ability to conduct thorough research is more important
Someone with a solid grasp of good writing techniques and flawless spelling and grammar
Native English speaker
What I don’t need:
Keyword stuffing or over the top SEO
Low quality articles full of fluff to make up the word count
Plagiarised work (I’ll be using copy checks on every article)
Please include your favourite colour in your application.
I'm looking to hire a writer in the next few weeks, and while I aim to respond to every candidate, if you haven't received a response from me within 3 weeks, please assume your application was not successful at this time.
If your application is successful, I’ll offer you a paid trial article (at $0.02/word) and if all goes well with that, I’ll ask you to agree to a few things so we both know what is expected of each of us, and then we can get started.
Please attach at least one sample/link to your own writing. Samples don’t need to be relevant to the freelancing niche, but bonus points if they are! Please feel free to ask any questions in your application and I will aim to answer all of them as soon as I can.
