Role Summary

We're hiring contract writers to produce content for our clients, most of whom are B2B technology and AI companies. You'll work from detailed briefs to write blog posts, guides, comparison pages, whitepapers, and case studies built to perform in both traditional search and AI search tools like ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews.

The work is per assignment. Volume varies month to month, and our most reliable writers get the first pick of new work and a steady flow of it. We pay per article or project and set rates individually based on experience, so you'll share your asking rate when you apply.

The bar is high. Our clients notice thin research and copy that reads like AI output. We want writers who follow the brief in full on the first draft and hold up well under editorial review.

If you also write conversion copy for landing pages, say so in your application. That work is in demand with our clients right now.

Responsibilities

- Write long-form content (blog posts, guides, comparison pages, case studies, whitepapers) from detailed briefs for B2B clients, mostly in technology and AI, and some B2C.
- Follow the brief in full on the first draft: target keywords, structure, internal links, statistics, expert insights, and any client-specific requirements.
- Research every piece. Find current statistics from credible sources and link them correctly. If a claim can't be backed up, cut it or flag it.
- Write for both traditional search engines and AI search tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity. We'll train you on our internal AI search guide.
- Self-edit before you submit. Grammar and factual accuracy are your job.
- Deliver on deadline. If a deadline is at risk, say so early.
- Revise based on editorial and client feedback. A round or two of revisions is part of every assignment.
- Write occasional landing page and commercial page copy if conversion copywriting is in your skill set.

Requirements

- Excellent, native-tier fluency in written English. Native speakers are preferred, but we are open to non-native speakers if your command of English is exceptional.
- 3+ years writing marketing content professionally, for clients or in-house.
- A portfolio of published work, including pieces about technology or AI.
- Proven research skills: you find real data and cite it accurately.
- A track record of following briefs closely and catching your own errors.
- Comfort with editorial feedback and multiple revision rounds.
- Reliable availability for recurring assignments and firm deadlines.
- Working knowledge of SEO content fundamentals (search intent, on-page structure, internal linking).

Nice to have

- Conversion copywriting experience, especially landing pages.
- Experience with AI search optimization (also called GEO).
- Editing experience.
- Case study writing.
- Familiarity with Google Docs and project management tools like ClickUp.
