We're seeking a freelance copywriter with some knowledge about e commerce, entrepreneurship, and online selling.
You must have above average writing skills as well and be able to research some specific policies (all found online) for platforms such as Amazon FBA, eBay.
It helps to be familiar with wholesaling, private labeling, & other e commerce topics etc.
Other articles involve small business tips, ways to scale your business, and other tools that are relevant to e commerce.
We also have other needs for Lego Investing & reselling so that is also a plus.
Please indicate if you are interested in both the e commerce/entrepreneurship and/or Lego investing.
Potential exists for ongoing ghostwriting if it’s a good fit for both parties.
Description:
- You’ll be given an article name and a specific format/outline for each post.
- You’re responsible for researching the topic and drafting an 1000-4500 word article.
- You’re responsible for including a list of research references that may be cited (if needed).
- Articles will be published on a website under a pseudonym. You will not be credited.
- Articles are intended to help people who want to make money with ecommerce, small business, etc.
- Articles should be written in the first person so they align with other personal blog posts.
- Sample posts will be provided as a guide.
Requirements
- Native English speaker/writer with a passion & some familiarity for (and knowledge of) ecommerce (specifically Amazon, Ebay, and other ecommerce platforms) & some home projects (may need to research)
- Conversational-yet-professional writing style
- An efficient and enthusiastic writer who creates quality first-drafts on deadline. BTW- Iron man is the favorite.
- Ability to write content that provides real value to readers (vs. rehash of other Google results)
- Follow the provided article briefs and style guides closely
- Correct grammar, typo-free, and fun-to-read copy a must
- Understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) appreciated but not required
- Open to feedback and willing to adjust content and/or writing style as needed
- Comfortable working 100% virtually, communicating via a project management system, and working with an editor/project manager
- Interested in potential longer-term writing assignments about ecommerce related topics
- Obsessive about avoiding plagiarism/duplicate content while researching and writing
- Ability to follow a supplied style guide (will send upon hiring)
