Description
We’re looking for a skilled content creator with a passion for marketing. Preferably with experience in real estate, home services, and/or insurance.Your primary responsibility will be crafting engaging blog articles tailored to our audience and target SEO keywords. Some familiarity with local marketing strategies and standard SEO content practices are essential to succeed in this role.This role offers consistent ongoing work with flexible part time hours.
Pay
Pay starts at $.08 per word. Payment will be sent via paypal.
We need 3 articles a month to begin, but hope to increase the work if we find candidate who is able to take on more.
We’re also happy to consider moving to an hourly rate once trust and a working relationship has been established.
Requirements
- Native speaker of American English or equivalent proficiency.
- Based in US, Canada, or expat preferred.
- Knowledge of and interest in marketing and related topics.
- Detail-oriented and able to complete tasks with limited supervision.
- A friendly, likable personality that shines through in writing.
- All content must be human written. Use of AI is welcome for various aspects of the writing process (research, brainstorming, etc), but the end content must be human written.
- General knowledge of SEO practices is preferred.
- Team player and great communicator.
Job Details
You job will be to write education and compelling blog content for our website. We need 3+/- posts a month.
We’ll give you topics to write on and keywords to include, as well as general content guidelines for style and length.
Your job will be to take those concepts and create posts that fit the guidelines.
The work can be entirely asynchronous and done on your own schedule. We can set deadlines or have you set your own. We just ask that you commit to whatever you agree to and follow through. Communication is key!
Writing Requirements
You will be writing well researched articles on the topics we provide. The topics will be marketing concepts and strategies for real estate agents, insurance agents, and home service providers (HVAC, roofing, plumbing, etc.)
The content will target specific SEO keywords, but the emphasis will be on content that is helpful and useful to the reader.
We expect content to be well proofed and edited, and ready to be published.
