We are looking for blog writers / freelance writers who can write content in a friendly, fun, informative and engaging way.
You should have a solid background in one or more of the following areas: website building, WordPress, eCommerce, software, marketing, blogging, and SEO.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in content writing, a passion for technology, and a desire to develop as a writer.
This is a contractor position, part-time, task-based per individual writing assignments, with the potential for career growth and future opportunities at our company.
Requirements:
- Native-level command of English with excellent writing skills in US English.
- Ability to understand technical topics and make them accessible to a wider audience.
- Understand that quality content online is conversational in nature.
- Good research and fact-checking skills.
- Ability to pitch stories and creatively approach topics.
- Have a strong command of your subject area and a willingness to learn more.
- Understand SEO best practices and how they factor into quality content.
- Be able to work independently without supervision concerning the individual stages of writing a quality article.
- Be driven by a constant curiosity to learn more and find better answers.
- Ability to adopt the brand voice and develop content within brand guidelines and style.
- Meet regular deadlines.
We create content for a handful of sites and want our articles to be as tailor-made to match the client's needs as possible.
