Description:
We are looking for two writers related to art:
(1) A skilled acrylic painter who can write how to articles, guides, reviews, and other art related content for our audience.
(2) A visual artist (can be painter or other visual art form) who can write about principles of art like composition, color theory etc. Likely this person will have had formal art training.
We have a lot of people interested in acrylic painting, but also want to expand our content to increase our reach on google for acrylic painting and other art related keywords. Mostly your content will be meant to rank high on google and bring in searchers, but may also be focused on social media or other purposes.
(1) Acrylic Painter Requirements:
We have a process and guidelines for you to follow, but we'd like applicants to have the following:
-Experience in acrylic painting (required)
-Ability to create art that catches the eye and shows up well in social media (required)
-Ability to take pictures of your art and willing to contribute the pictures to the required articles (required)
-Fluent English writing and comprehension (required)
-Realistic painting experience (required) - many people searching online are looking for specific paintings like "how to paint a rose" so you can be an abstract painter, but need to be able to paint realism as well to meet these search needs
-Time available to write at least two 2,000 word articles monthly (required)
-Experience teaching art or painting (medium importance)
-Art degree (medium importance)
-Video how to instruction for relevant articles (not required, but a bonus! - pay would be adjusted accordingly for these)
(2) Visual Artist Requirements:
We have a process and guidelines for you to follow, but we'd like applicants to have the following:
-Understanding and ability to teach through writing basic art concepts like color theory, composition, contrast, creativity etc. (required)
-Fluent English writing and comprehension (required)
-Time available to write at least two 2,000 word articles monthly (required)
-Experience teaching art or painting (medium importance)
-Art degree (medium importance)
-Understanding of art history (medium importance)
-Ability to find pictures that teach what you will write about (not required, but a bonus)
-Video how to instruction for relevant articles (not required, but a bonus! - pay would be adjusted accordingly for these)
Expected pay rate:
Between $0.025 and $0.06 per word.
