We're looking for skilled writers to create high-quality and practical content for the scijournal.org blog.
Each blog post will be between 500 - 1,000 words per post.
Please note that we have very high editorial standards and structured approach compared to most other blogs. Every post that we publish goes through our strict editorial process where we check all claims and ideas for accuracy. We want our readers to trust us and we absolutely must ensure the highest quality content.
You'll be assigned topics and given a submission deadline. It's quite likely that in the first couple of weeks there will be a lot of feedback and editing required. But generally, once a writer gets into the swing of things, that part should be minimal.
Note that we only require our writers to write the content, no web formatting or design is required.
The content must be insanely practical and in-depth.
Our content must be sourced, researched, and tested with life experience. What we do is we follow a structured research process, e.g., review and compare at least top 10 articles to identify improvement areas of a topic, note the common themes, compare that with our own experience, and provide a balanced view on the subject. It’s more of a habit than anything.
The job pays $0.04-0.06 per word.
All of the articles have to be well researched and well written and backed by facts. You will have to back all of your claims. In the beginning, we might ask you to provide a copy of research that you have done. We can share a video with you on how to do that properly.
If you do well, you will have years of work to come. We have about at least 30-50 articles to publish this year.
