We're looking for remote content writers with first-hand STEM experience/expertise and a passion for all things STEM.
You will use your excellent research, writing, and editing skills to produce expert-level articles on specific, assigned STEM topics. However, we're looking for writers willing to go beyond research by introducing your own personal experiences and expertise into your writing.
We are a growing online publishing company looking to expand websites in the STEM niche with top-quality content. We are a boutique media company with strong values and a commitment to making the world a better place with every article we publish. We are based in Brisbane, Australia, but include workers across many timezones and locations globally.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create engaging content for websites in the STEM niche
- Go beyond simple research to develop fresh and innovative content
- Perform and deliver according to deadlines
- Create a minimum of 3,000 words per week
- Edit or rewrite your existing content to meet Senior Editor expectations
EXPERIENCE & CAPABILITIES
- Excellent writing skills: creative writing, solid grammar, and impeccable spelling are a must
- Fluent in the English language
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work with minimal supervision in a collaborative and positive team environment
- A self-starter with the ability to create content quickly
- A continuous learner
- A collaborative team player who values the success of the whole team, in addition to your own success
