BetLions.com is looking to hire a content editor (remote).
Please have experience with WordPress, editing, and on-page SEO.
As a content editor, you will be responsible for finalizing the article before it goes live on the site.
Duties:
- improve/enhance content before being published
- correcting/updating
- spelling/grammar (we have a premium Grammarly account if needed)
- update/delete/add on-page SEO activities (i.e. internal linking, external linking, h2/h3 header placement, table of contents placement, adding structured content when needed, etc)
- adding relevant images and alt tags for images
- managing all of the writers
- educate writers on best practices, identify ways to improve the flow of materials, and advise writers on content pieces
- click publish :)
Please note being highly skilled at on-page SEO is a must and will put your application towards the top.
Also, we promote a friendly, easy-going working environment but expect timely/quality work. We are not into long meetings, long emails, long zoom calls, or workplace drama. Please be self-sufficient as we prefer to be hands-off as long as the work is being completed at a high level.
$15 to $40 per hour depending on experience and editing speed. More experience combined with the capability of completing articles efficiently at a high degree of quality equals a higher rate of pay.
