Description
If you’re reading this, you’ve just stumbled onto one of the most consistent types of freelance writing gigs on the internet … congrats!
For this consistent/ongoing writing gig, we are looking to add to our team of writers to complete college-level essays for students across the United States. Some of the most common types of papers our writers complete for customers are:
- Research Papers
- Annotated Bibliographies
- Argumentative Essays
Of course, these are just some of the many types of essays we complete. For those of our writers who have specialties in fields such as science, physics, statistics, etc., there are unique opportunities for other types of papers.
If you have a unique skill set/education, please let us know in your application.
Now that you know a little about the job, let’s talk about who we are, who you are, and the pay.
Who We Are:
We are a small company that provides essays to students in both high school and college to help them free up time, whether because they’re lazy or because they’re too busy working full-time jobs while in school.
And one of our company’s main missions is to protect the anonymity of both our writers, and the students who use our site to ensure the most seamless process on both ends. This is why 100% of our work is ghostwritten from the perspective of the student.
But we are in need of more writers to join our team. If you’re a good fit, this is a great opportunity to get an ongoing freelance writing gig where you can work from the comfort of your home, a hotel, a mountaintop, beach, or wherever it is you want to be. Here’s who and what we’re looking for…
Who You Are:
United States resident with English as your first/primary language.
Unfortunately, we are only accepting applications from US residents at the moment. And just as importantly, your understanding of the English language needs to be flawless. Our customers are based throughout the United States, so even slight alterations to an American sounding essay might throw the professor off. For that reason, please do not apply if English is not your first or primary language.
In the most ideal world, you’re a recent college graduate.
You’re someone who has completed plenty of your own papers in the past. Heck, maybe you’re still in college as we speak. But whether you are currently in college, are a recent college graduate, or maybe you’ve never gone to college before, here’s the most important thing:
You are a grammatical wizard.
Remember, this isn’t writing for some blog where readers aren’t going to notice small grammatical errors on the page. This is writing for students, some of whom go to the top universities in the country. Their professors care greatly about the little details that make a great paper, well, great!
Fortunately, as a freelance writer, you’re likely already great with grammar and are comfortable researching topics you have little experience in - something that is important for every paper we write.
You are a deadline-oriented writer.
Students come to our site with a strict deadline in mind. If you miss that deadline, the students’ grade is on the line. This is why it is so important you are comfortable with finishing work in a timely manner.
You’re open to criticism.
This is especially true if it’s been a while since you last wrote an essay. Our staff will help during the onboarding process of getting you more comfortable with writing at the college level, but that doesn’t come without active critique. But to be a high-performing writer, it’s important to us that you take our advice and use it for every future paper. The less mistakes, the better.
Pay Structure:
Our writers start at a base of $10 per page, with opportunities to grow as you build reputation with our company. For last-minute papers, we pay $15 per page for those writers who are able to/want to take on a last-minute project (due within 12-hours).
Application Process:
Please respond to this job posting with the following:
A resume of any recent writing work (within the past year)
A short paragraph about why you’d be a good fit on our team (this is a great spot to include any special education/background such as science, physics, etc.)
A 500-700-word research paper on one of the following topics (2 sources minimum, APA or MLA citation):
- Tax cuts as a form of economic stimulation
- Social effects of team sports
- How is internet censorship used in China?
- Primary differences between 2-year and 4-year colleges
- Incarceration rates in the United States
Keep in mind we scan every application. If your sample paper is found online with a highly plagiarized score, we will discard your application. If our team decides you are a good fit, we will reach out with the following steps in the application process.
Serious inquiries only, please. We look forward to hearing from you!
