Description
Do you spend your days fixing a leaky sink, wiring a house, or deciding what color to paint the walls so it makes the tile stand out?
Do you remodel houses, have an eye for design, or build from scratch?
We are a young home improvement and decor site looking to really expand our content.
Who Are We Looking For:
We are looking for native US writers with experience in the following subjects:
- Plumbing
- Electrical
- HVAC
- House Remodel (cabinets, sheetrock, tile)
- Design & Decor
- Licensed Contractors/ Home Inspectors
Writers that have a passion for one (or more) of the subjects above.
Involved in the topics you are covering. You don't need to be an industry expert, but at least have some real-world experience.
Have strong research skills.
Able to make your point in a simplified way so the reader can easily understand the content while keeping the core message.
If it doesn't add value or entertain the reader, then you do not add it in your article.
What We Are Looking For
Quality content (which is subjective, right?).
I will provide topics on one of the following subjects above and would like to see a thorough article covering the topic top to bottom.
This usually ends up with an article around 1,000 - 3,000 words, depending on the subject.
You are expected to research the topic, include links to your sources and/or links to videos that support your points.
Article Types:
- How To Guides
- Tutorials
- Product review articles
- Informational content
What's In It For You?
A stable writing gig, with the goal of 1-2 articles a week (could be 5+ articles a week) and with the possibility for more as the site grows.
I am NOT looking for writers who are looking for $1.00, $0.50, $0.20, $0.15 a word.
There will be a paid 2 article trial.
Then if we both agree to work together, we can talk about price and quantity. Some writers have been on the team for over 2 years now - I am looking for long-term writers.
If this all sounds like what you love to do, then please apply through the link (Google form) and I will be in touch.
Be sure to answer "Let's Build" on the final question or your application will be discarded.
Thank you!
