Description
Responsibilities for the writer will include:
• Write accurate, lively, and concise posts at a minimum of 350 words for a leading entertainment news website.
• Strong headline writing skills, and comfort with any/all social media platforms.
• Strong interest in and basic knowledge of SEO.
• Jump on breaking and major news stories that make sense for each brand’s general audience, quickly turning around articles with sharp, story-advancing approaches and angles.
• Identify fresh and interesting stories that have not already been widely shared.
• Clearly communicate across company's multiple editorial departments and contributors.
• Track down sources quickly for interviews when and where necessary.
