I am a Master’s degree-level educated reputation management thought leader, critical thinker, and remote nonfiction book ghostwriter with over 25 years of unbroken and uninterrupted expertise and hands-on experience in strategic marketing communications. Experience
Provide strategy guidance, lead relationship development strategy and guidelines, quality gatekeeping and day-to-day management of the firm. Advise on, and develop compelling new business development techniques and lead high-level business relationship networking.
Delivered communication strategies and operational plans to manage the strategies by leading communications, public relations and events management processes at the African Development Institute of AfDB. Directed implementation; and supported Bank in designing, developing, reviewing, editing, and translating of communication materials.
• Drafted complex big-event speeches for President of African Development Bank, Vice President/Chief Economist, and developed communication materials: media kits, press releases, web stories, feature articles, policy papers, etc. for Bank's high-profile, international events, like the, “Nelson Mandela Centenary Celebrations Public Lecture,” and many others.
• Went beyond agreed deliverables and introduced Conceptualizing Policy Papers (Knowledge Creation & Management) from international events organized by African Development Bank to top management for policy formulation.
• Anchored as Master of Ceremonies at high-level, high-profile international event, the Nelson Mandela Centenary Lecture Series in Sept 2018 at AfDB which attracted over 600 dignitaries, on behalf of Director of Communication and External Relations.
Delivered over 25 critical strategy documents and communication plans in 6 years and implemented most of them, achieving 82% spontaneous name-recall in 4 years while supporting internal and external communications strategy, writing, and disseminating publicity material; responding to inquiries from the public and coordinating promotional events.
• Pioneered exceptional creative way to get Press Releases of the company to be read globally even in local newspapers worldwide by using PR Newswire, a reputable global news distribution firm achieving global reach and huge mileage.
• Led the Group’s Community Relations and reduced youth restiveness and downtime in host communities from 22% in 2008 to less than 1% in 2012 by deploying innovative crisis management strategies like appointing respected chiefs in host communities to act as brand ambassadors – a first of its kind in the oil & gas subsector in Nigeria. This initiative was hugely successful.
• Provided support system for effective and efficient community mobilization for over 6 years towards waging the peace in the Group’s host communities in Sapele and Warri in Delta State, and Odukpani in Cross River State.
