Electives included scriptwriting and poetry. I wrote a novella for my dissertation. Each piece also required a commentary explaining the creative decisions I'd made and what their impact would be on the reader.

As part of the MA, I managed an anthology, which contained writings from everyone on the course. It became the most successful anthology in the course's 20-year history, selling out of its first print run and being the first to require a second. Many put its success down to the digital marketing strategy, which I created.

I help businesses devise – and stick to – their content marketing strategy. I also write sales and explainer video scripts to increase engagement and sales.

I developed Cronofy's content marketing strategy, which helped to attract big-name businesses via SEO. I also wrote blog posts and video scripts which explained what a SaaS API is, and how it can help businesses. These were targeted at roles which wouldn't usually understand an API or what it does, which meant I had to make the complex simple. I did this through clear language and analogies.

I managed the council's website and social media. It was my responsibility to train colleagues from different service areas how to update the website and ensure it was accurate. I also dealt with customer service enquiries posted on social media.

The social media strategy I created for the annual firework display doubled ticket sales to the event.
