I’m an agreeable easygoing guy who likes to travel, and to discuss about politics and current affairs. I’m generally happy to explore most activities and to try new things, except heights and bugs. I love to wine and dine, as much as I also love craft beers and comfort foods. I can speak English and Mandarin fluently, French and Japanese conversationally, and Russian and Spanish elementarily. I majored in Political Science in college at Rutgers University. I’m currently in medical school, although due to funding issues, it’s temporarily on hold. Ever since I was a young boy, I always loved writing, as I could put my thoughts and feelings much better on paper than spoken. Growing up, I had a rather severe stutter. It took me years of speech therapy to overcome it, which now only comes out whenever I am particularly nervous or exceptionally anxious. Throughout the years, I have written plenty of articles, opinions, and editorials for school publications. Due to the pandemic and unforeseen family situation, I have been working a few online jobs as a digital nomad, but gigs are few and far between. I wish I could have been given more chances as a writer and a tutor online, but sadly competition is pretty stiff.

After my father sold his business, I began teaching students between the ages of 8 and 16 privately in English, Mandarin, Mathematics and Sciences.
After graduating from university, I started working for my father in his publishing business in various roles. However, due to what he calls a “sunset” industry, he sold the business in 2017.
