The Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in General Sciences is a program designed to prepare future educators with a strong foundation in various scientific disciplines, including biology, chemistry, physics, and earth sciences. This course equips students with the knowledge and teaching strategies needed to effectively educate secondary-level learners in science subjects. It emphasizes both theoretical understanding and practical application, fostering critical thinking, scientific inquiry, and effective communication. Graduates of this program are prepared to become skilled science teachers, curriculum developers, or educational researchers in the field of science education.

As a teaching assistant/tutor, I provided academic support to students by facilitating learning in various subjects, particularly in science. My responsibilities included assisting in lesson preparation, conducting review sessions, and offering one-on-one or small group tutoring to reinforce key concepts. I developed engaging instructional materials, adapted teaching strategies to suit different learning styles, and helped students improve their understanding and performance. Additionally, I provided feedback on assignments, assisted in classroom management, and encouraged a positive learning environment. This experience strengthened my ability to communicate complex topics effectively, foster student engagement, and support diverse learners in their academic growth.

As a sales representative/manager, I was responsible for driving revenue growth, building strong client relationships, and developing effective sales strategies. I excelled in identifying customer needs, presenting tailored solutions, and closing deals to achieve and exceed sales targets. My role also involved training and mentoring sales teams, overseeing performance metrics, and implementing strategies to enhance customer satisfaction.
