I could say that I’m good at overcoming obstacles, and this would be true. There have been many obstacles that have presented themselves to keep me away from stepping fully into my purpose to help others fulfill theirs. I soldier on.
But I’m mindful of the power of language. Focusing on overcoming obstacles means that first, the obstacles have to present themselves. Only then, after “overcoming” can you achieve your goal.
However, changing the way you think about the “problem,” shifting toward thinking about preferred circumstances presenting themselves, well then, that seems more efficient. Saving time and effort and getting to the good stuff sooner.
