Hi everyone!
I am an avid writer with a background in journalism and research-based writing. I do not write fluff. I specialize in travel guides, "how to" articles, features, SEO articles and social media copy, but I love a new challenge too.
I have experience writing about a variety of topics: luxury travel, off-the-beaten-path travel, couples travel, road trips, USA travel, wedding venues, designer fashion, trending fashion, skincare and hair care, virtual reality (VR) products, real estate, public art, children’s art programs, K-12 education, language learning, international development and e-commerce.
In my personal life, I have many passions, including Latin dance, travel, hiking, camping, trail running, craft beers, street food, camping, fashion and beauty.
I have explored over 35 countries in the past 9 years and use my extensive knowledge of travel experiences, people and places to inform my writing.
I am comfortable using WordPress, Google Suite, Weebly and many scheduling or SEO tools. If I don’t know it, then I will learn it.
My background in journalism makes me great at meeting tight deadlines, fact-checking and completing thorough research. I also spent 6 years teaching business English so my grasp of grammar and the English language is excellent.
Education
I participated in a work-study program in Washington DC in order to fine tune my skills as a journalist and gain practical experience.
I refined my research, writing and fact-checking skills, while studying History with a foreign language minor (Italian and Spanish).
Experience
I create product descriptions, landing page copy and labels for eco-friendly shampoos and deodorants.
I write SEO optimized articles about weddings, including venues, budgeting tips, photographers, decorations and fashion.
I also write in-depth guides and comparative articles about honeymoon destinations.
I researched and analyzed public policy documents in order to write concise, compelling social media copy for Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter.
Topics: climate change, women’s economic empowerment in South East Asia, public policy in Malaysia and post-Covid economic recovery.
I write SEO travel articles about Indonesia and luxury experiences.
Topics: “10 landmarks in Indonesia that will amaze you” or “14 luxury resorts in Bali you have to visit”.
I created social media copy for a luxury fashion startup that billed itself as “Amazon meets Reddit for luxury fashion”.
I wrote punchy, informative captions for IG posts, stories and reels.
I ghostwrite articles ranging from 800 to 5,000 words on topics such as health, travel, beauty, weddings and sports.
This is some of my favorite kind of writing and I love when my clients are happy.
I direct a summer arts program from children aged 7-15 that connects young artists to working creators.
We feature 30 artists per session and our program includes studio tours, workshops, performances and demonstrations.
I also teach the creative writing workshops.
