I worked the first half of my writing career as a technical writer and editor specializing in software and hardware documentation. Technical writing made me well-practiced in clear and concise writing for a wide variety of audiences. During this time I also worked as a ghostwriter scripting audio courses aimed at people looking to start a business.

I currently wear the hats of content contributor, proofreader, copy editor, web designer, and social media manager for thedollarstretcher.com and after50finances.com websites and newsletters. For the past 15 years, I have been responsible for both sites' design and SEO optimization.

Although I am quite skilled at the design and technical aspects of web publishing, my true passion lies in writing and editing. I am a true word nerd at heart. My favorite writing categories include frugal living, personal finance, home & auto, and lifestyle, but I can write on almost any topic that I can research. I write both short and long-form content and am well practiced in SEO keyword research and writing.
