WRITERS
You must:
- Live in North County (Del Mar, Cardiff, Rancho Santa Fe, Solana Beach, Encinitas, Carlsbad, Oceanside, Vista, San Marcos, Escondido, Poway, Rancho Bernardo)
- Have prior writing experience and willingness to learn the voice of YNC
- Provide three writing examples that have been published online
- Have your own computer, internet connection, and are extremely internet savvy
- Stay on top of the latest social media trends and local happenings
- Be reliable: turn articles in on time, communicate with the editorial team on a timely basis, follow directions
** A PLUS: Have basic knowledge of WordPress (we will train the right candidate)
This is a part-time, remote position. Our writers are paid per word on a bi-monthly basis via PayPal, plus awesome incentives and bonuses!

RESEARCHER
You must:
- Have your own computer, internet connection, and are extremely internet savvy
- Be reliable: turn in assignments on time, communicate with the editorial team on a timely basis, follow directions
- Have basic WordPress knowledge (you’ll be using this platform on a daily basis)
- Have excellent computer skills
This is a part-time, remote position. If you live in San Diego North County, that is a huge plus.
Pay: $10-$12 per hour
