MuseumNext is an international conference series for those working in the museum sector. We inspire, empower and connect those shaping the future of museums.

We are now looking for freelance writers to help us to grow our online content with well-researched, insightful articles that will inform and inspire.

You will research, write and edit unique articles on a wide range of museum sector related topics.

These could be on ‘how museums are using virtual reality’, ‘how to serve autistic visitors better’ or other aspects of museum practice.

Because of the small nature of this community, it is essential that all content is unique, as any plagiarism will be quickly called out.

We will commission 1 - 3 unique articles of 1,500+ words each week.

Applicants should:

• Native English speaker
• Have a talent for writing unique and engaging articles
• Ability to research inspiring examples and ideas
• Detail sources for each of the articles
• Understand and incorporate SEO best practice

How to Apply:

Please email [email protected] with links to 2–3 samples of your writing and your per word rate.

We will commission a handful of applicants to produce sample articles, and then expect to commission two writers to produce 1 – 3 articles each week.

Because of the high number of applicants, we will only get back to those writers who we wish to commission.
