The fastest growing entertainment and news media company seeks writer/reporters to cover the war in Ukraine.
Daily responsibilities will include:
Finding timely, relevant story ideas related to the ongoing geopolitical conflict
Writing sharp, clean, concise and engaging stories
Producing your own stories in the CMS and choosing and editing media to accompany them
Collaborating with the social team to grow our platforms and referral traffic
Following editorial style guides, SEO recommendations, and more guidance from leadership to create impactful content
Contributing to company podcasts and video series as appropriate
Editing and producing content submitted by our reporters on the ground
You must:
Be able to work productively with autonomy
Have experience working in WordPress or a similar CMS
Be able to work efficiently in a time-sensitive environment
SEO knowledge is a bonus
