We’ll come up with a headline for the articles that we want written, and we’ll give you the freedom to research and write them. For each article, we’ll state about how many words it should be. Then, when you’ve finished writing it, we’ll look it over and when we think it’s ready, we’ll publish it.
For most of our articles, we target about 1500 to 2,000 words. For these articles, we will pay 2 cents per word which comes out to about $30 to $40 for articles that we publish. As you gain experience writing with us you’ll get more flexibility in choosing your own topics and outlining and writing articles as you like. As we move in that direction, your pay will increase.
What we’re looking for in writers
We’re not looking to hire full-time employees. We just want to pay you for the articles you write.
You don’t have to be a professional writer, but correct English spelling, grammar, and punctuation are very important.
Put the word money in the header or first sentence of your reply.
We want people who can commit to writing two to four (2-4) 2,500-word articles per month and do the research that goes into that.
If you have experience writing for a blog, that’s a big plus, but we’re really going to make our decisions based on a sample of your writing. There will also be opportunities to write articles from our video content.
Provide a .doc or .docx file containing a 2,000+ word article about any subject you think would be applicable to dividend investing, retirement planning, personal finance or income streams. Our audience is affluent and midlife or after, so not interested in budgeting or credit. We guarantee that if we choose to use your article for our site, we will pay you for your work.
