Job Description:
Defense Business Broadcast is looking for a freelance writer and researcher to compose 2-3 short articles each day, up to 15 per week, on Defense Industry related topics.
Each post should be thoroughly researched, optimized for search engines and approximately 400-600 words.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain consistent writing work. There will be opportunities to work on subsequent projects on a part-time basis if your work is satisfactory.
Job Responsibilities:
You will be provided with 2-3 topics each business day at around 6:00 pm (New York Time) and asked to write an article around those topics. It will be your responsibility to research those topics, write the article following best SEO practices, gather images and media to include in the article, and format the article for use in WordPress.
We anticipate each article taking no longer then 45 mins to 1 hour including the time spent researching.
A web based training session will be conducted prior to your starting to write articles to ensure you have all tools required to complete the assignments. This will be scheduled after hire confirmation.

Qualifications:
Qualified applicants will have knowledge of, or experience with the following:
- SEO best practices and keyword research
- SEO optimized article writing
- Research Skills
- Excellent control over written language, grammar and spelling
- Phenomenal written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strict adherence to deadlines
