We (athemes.com) want to hire a WordPress tutorial writer. By tutorial we mean 'how to' type content and guides, all focussed around WordPress. A typical post might be along the lines of 'how to create a contact form in WordPress'.
In the future the role might expand to include more but at least initially we would like you to focus on this type of content.
You should be able to write clearly and in a step by step manner that is easy to follow, even for beginners to WordPress.
Requirements
- Good experience with and knowledge of WordPress, including themes, plugins and hosting
- have published articles on WordPress on relevant websites (bonus points if you can show us highly-ranked articles you've written)
- excellent writing skills (native level English)
Responsibilities
- Write one or more high-quality tutorials per week for our blog
Tutorials will range from a few hundred to one or two thousand words, depending on the topic. If it is a guide the word count could be even higher.
This is a remote position, meaning that you can work from anywhere you like.
In your application please state your rate per word and include links to samples of your best work, preferably WordPress-related pieces on relevant websites.
