At Wine Club Judge, we review and compare the different wine clubs that service the United States, helping people find the right wine club for their specific needs.
The job
We are looking to hire freelance writers who have experience writing product reviews, and preferably knowledge of the wine club market in the United States.
Successful applicants will cover topics related to reviewing and comparing different wine clubs, and how to buy wine online.
Articles range from 1500-3000 words.
The amount of work available is flexible, up to 20000 words per month depending on the number of successful applicants. For successful applicants, a large volume of long-term work will be available.
The job will pay between $0.05 to $0.12 US per word depending on skills, experience and knowledge.
About you
We are looking for excellent writers with a strong attention to detail, and ideally good knowledge of different wines and wine clubs.
Essential knowledge/skills
- Native English speaker or extremely strong ESL speaker.
- Experience writing online articles, especially product reviews.
- Can effectively research and synthesize information to make the article as useful as possible to the end reader.
- Can write articles clearly, succinctly, and to the point, with good grammar.
- Must be a wine drinker.
Good to have knowledge/skills
- Knowledge of the wine clubs available in the US, such as Firstleaf and NakedWines.
- Knowledge of rules/regulations in the US about buying wine online in different states.
- Knowledge of different types and vintages of wine, and from different regions of the world. Knowledge of what makes a bottle good, and how to describe this to the reader.
