TEXAS Travel Writers Needed – Competitive Rates

Are you a proud Texan and in love with our state?

We’re looking for awesome freelance travel writers local to Texas / familiar with Texas to contribute 2-3 articles per week on a regular basis for a Texas travel website.

Payment -
Payment ranges from 5 cents per word to 1.5 cents per word depending on experience and skills, via Paypal.
Higher rates and bylines available for those who travel locally and can submit photos of relevant destinations.

Applicants must be –

• Native speakers of American English.
• Preferably based in Texas and love to travel.
• Able to write 2-3 high quality blog posts per week; 800-1500 words each
• Familiar with WordPress, Google Docs
• Knowledgeable about SEO and able to write without keyword stuffing
• Able to follow style guides and instructions precisely

Qualified applicants will need to write and submit a 750-800 words paid trial article at the rate of 3 cents per word.
