We are a tech/gadgets blog looking to pay for quality writing. We have tried every $0.02-0.03/word service and have never found the quality of writer that we need. Finally, I am getting smarter and realizing that we need to pay more and find a writer that meets our standards.
The website deals with technology and gadgets. Primarily, articles will cover product comparisons (X vs. Y), FAQs, and Help Guides (How to Connect X to a Computer, How to Solve Flashing Red Light on Y, etc.). Common products include portable speakers, soundbars, sound machines, and smart home devices.
There is an abundance of information available on these products, but it is often hard to find, challenging to understand, or from sources that are inaccessible to many readers (reddit, message boards, etc.). So we need someone to make this information user-friendly, authoritative, and helpful to consumers that are looking to make a purchase decision.
The writer needs to be willing to dig into the technical aspects of products and provide information that is thorough and helpful. Fluff and padded word counts just don't help anyone in the technology niche.
Pay: $0.04/word for qualified applicants that can provide substantive content. Willing to pay $0.05-$0.07/word for a highly skilled technical writer that can provide samples of past work and can deliver exceptional quality.
We want to hire ASAP. Payment will be prompt.
Workload: Opportunities are nearly unlimited once you have proven your writing capabilities. To begin, we want 2-3 articles (~3,000 words) per week. Our content budget is very high for the right candidate, so there will be opportunities to remain at 2-3 articles per week or increase to 5+/week if you prefer.
Requirements:
- English fluency
- Must be willing to work as ghostwriter
- Willing to do the background work needed to ensure that content is factually correct, substantive, and free of plagiarism
