Who we are:
A site with a focus on target sports https://targetcrazy.com . Most of our current content is based on Archery with a small segway into relevant optics.
We would like to branch into other target sports such as target shooting, pistol, and rifles, paintball etc.
We need someone to write 6000-10000 words a month. That number consists of skyscraper (highly informative, good research and link worthy) articles and commercial product roundup articles (what’s the best product/buyers guides).
Articles can range from 1500 words to 4000 depending on the type.
We give reasonably detailed briefs (usually down to the H2 level) and have a particular format and editorial style that we like to adhere to.
Articles will require topic research to produce a good informative piece and commercial ones will require product research.
We don’t expect you to have used products we write about, however, we do expect you to understand what a feature is for and how it may benefit a user.
Our articles are currently ghostwritten, however, this is a point of negotiation. We are open to giving you a bio but copyright to the content will always remain with us.
Who we’re looking for:
Someone with a voice and personality to their writing. Those that aren’t nervous to use humor or experience. Looking for a writer who either knows their stuff or is willing to put in the time to research things and sound like they do.
You’ll be familiar with what LSI means and how an article doesn’t need stuffing with keywords. But does need to cover a subject well and most importantly….
Engage from the first paragraph.
The site is written in English and targeted for the US market, your fluency in the English language and its quirks should be perfectamundo.
