T2 Diabetes Dietitian/ CDE Writer

We have a growing community of motivated type 2 diabetics/prediabetics who are hungry for our regular nutrition, health and food updates. And we are extremely passionate about helping them enjoy life more while regulating blood sugar at the same time!

If you’re interested in, or passionate about type 2 diabetes and low carb nutrition AND have dietitian/ CDE qualifications, we want to hear from you.

We need a writer capable of the following:

Requirements

We require original articles around 800-1000 words in length covering different topics on T2 diabetic/ prediabetic nutrition, health and food on a weekly to bi-weekly basis.

We will provide topics with a title and either a basic outline or format to follow.

Our site is evidence-based so articles must be based on the latest research and include links to reputable journal articles, or at the very least, links to other reputable nutrition and health sites and sources. Never wikipedia and low quality sites.

Writing must be professional but in a conversational friendly tone and you must be able to write accurate, informative and engaging articles that provide practical and useful info.

We need a reliable person who can produce and deliver work regularly, and on time, and preferably someone we can work with long term.

You must have dietitian and/or diabetes educator credentials. And if you have knowledge of type 2 diabetes/ prediabetes low carb nutrition and blood sugar management - that’s a bonus!

2. Include a short paragraph about yourself, your experience and your credentials (do not apply if you do not have dietitian or diabetes educator credentials)
3. Include 2-3 writing samples if you them, preferably published online
4. A link to your portfolio if you have one and/or a link to your LinkedIn profile
5. Your rate per 800-1000 word article - we provide topics with basic outline and/or format.
6. A short writing sample (up to 200 words) based on the following guidelines - select a piece of research on low carb nutrition for type 2 diabetes. Present the evidence in a conversational and engaging way that is helpful to the reader. Ensure you include your reference/s or internally link to your sources within your email.

If you don’t follow the application guidelines above, your email will be deleted - because it means you can't follow guidelines and that doesn't really work. ;)
