Description

We are looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to engage and connect with our audience on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube and other emerging social media sites. You will help build awareness of Really Good Stuff within our target audience and drive traffic to our website properties. You will accomplish this by providing the editorial vision and proactive leadership in ensuring a voice consistent with our “brand values”. This position will rely heavily on creativity and ingenuity; and will work closely with teams within the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • You’ll set the path for the brand’s social media editorial voice, purpose, and calendars for marketing efforts
  • Ensure content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice
  • Utilize various channel mix including blog and PR levers to create awareness of marketing messages, services and products in an authentic way
  • Own and manage development of the social media content calendar, maintaining proactive posting schedule.
  • Engage with customers on a daily basis; with the ultimate goal of turning fans into customers
  • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video and written).
  • Identify and create programs and promotions targeting community growth and engagement.
  • Listen, respond, and engage audiences to cultivate organic engagement.
  • Work closely with both SEO and merchandising managers to ensure alignment of product & content strategies across Really Good Stuff platforms (social and website).
  • Establish and foster relationships with online influencers to get more advocates for the brand.
  • Tabulate and record metrics for measurement and reporting dashboards (e.g., number of comments, shares, post-level "Likes”, “follows”, views, subscriptions, sentiment, etc.).
  • Contribute to marketing meetings to ensure coordination of the social media editorial calendar

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of professional level social media/content marketing experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferably in Marketing, Advertising or Public Relations.
  • Previous background in Education and/or teaching is HIGHLY preferred.
  • Knowledge of analytics, tracking and social media monitoring tools is required
  • Up-to-date with the latest advances in digital media (social media, mobile, PR, etc.)
  • Experience with successful, paid, social promotions and/or campaigns is a plus
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong sense of initiative, accountability and ownership
  • Excellent communication and writing skills are essential
  • Well-organized, with a track record of proven success managing multiple projects simultaneously and effectively
