We are a fast-paced startup that helps clients in an endless array of industries. One day we could be discussing essential oils and listing beauty hacks and the next we could be delving into business operations and hiring best practices. We stay on our toes when it comes to not just keeping up with the trends, but leading them - and our clients expect only the best!
We are looking for an equally passionate writer who is highly experienced in writing for a wide range of online needs, such as long-form blogs, web page copy and blog outlines. This may involve writing new copy or optimizing existing copy on pre-selected pages, targeting specific keywords.
Our ideal writer has the capacity to write SEO-driven, research-backed blog posts in a conversational and entertaining way. S/He will be able to help readers understand sometimes confusing information in a simple way. S/He will also be able to write in a way that guides readers through a funnel with enticing calls to action (this is that sales copy aspect we want to see!).
Our ideal writer is NOT a Jack or Jill of all trades, but rather someone who has taken the time to truly master certain aspects of online copy within specific verticals, including but not limited to
- SAAS
- B2B products and bulk products
- Software development
- Home improvement/décor
- Finance
- Lifestyle
- Healthcare
- E-commerce pages
Ready to apply? Before you do, please ensure that you are….
- Able to effectively write for and master different audiences and tones based on a content brief
- Able to distill complex ideas in a simple way (eliminating or explaining jargon, etc)
- Informative (must be able to research and cite to quality sources and sites)
- Have personality in your writing style
- Able to write 1,500-2,000 words around one concept without filler content
- Able to self-edit for grammar/tone
