Job Description
We are looking for an experienced, smart, and ambitious Content Writer to join our SEO Team team as a full-time member. As a Content Writer, you will be responsible for creating digital content (blog posts, landing pages, market reports, analytical articles, etc.) on a wide range of topics related to investing in residential rental properties in the US market. While knowledge of the US housing market is not required, experience in results-oriented content writing is a must.
You will write informative, truthful, comprehensive, and engaging blog posts, landing pages, and other forms of digital content which are based on thorough research and analysis and which contribute to achieving the goals set in the company’s content and SEO strategy. Initially you will receive a quick onboarding from our Marketing Director/Content Manager, after which you will be expected to hit the ground running and become fully independent. Keywords and topics will be provided to you by our Content Manager.
Our online presence is the backbone of the success and growth of our business, so your position will play a crucial role in driving our business forward. Your goal will be to contribute to driving more organic traffic to our website, improving our organic rankings, and generating more revenue. You will work in cooperation with the rest of our SEO team and report directly to our Marketing Director.
Work arrangement: This is a full-time, 100% remote role. We eagerly welcome candidates from anywhere in the world.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Write outstanding digital content which ranks high on search engines, drives traffic, and gets conversions
- Conduct in-depth online research on trends in the US real estate market
- Analyze real estate data provided by our Data team to include in content pieces
- Constantly work towards organic search optimization and ROI optimization
- Identify main KPIs and set up targets
- Monitor KPIs and prepare regular reports
- Suggest improvements in process and productivity optimization
- Always stay up to date with the latest SEO and content marketing trends and best practices
- Collaborate with our SEO Team, Marketing team, and other teams
- Actively contribute to our overall growth and success (including areas outside the strict Marketing realm)
Requirements and Qualifications
- 3 years of experience as a Content Writer
- Excellent English writing skills
- Proficiency in WordPress
- Outstanding online research skills
- Very comfortable organizing and analyzing data in Excel/Google Sheets (as much of our content is focused on real estate data analytics)
- Experience with relevant SEO-related tools
- Analytical mindset with numerical aptitude
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to develop a deep understanding of the US real estate market
- "Get it done" mindset
- Experience in real estate is a plus but is not required
