Description

We’re building a team of freelance writers with 5+ years writing experience in Martial Arts physical conditioning, nutrition, recovery, and injury management to write copy that not only helps launch our new site, www.fightingartshealthlab.com, but supports the ongoing updates to the site.

The purpose of your work will encompass the following areas:

(1) Deliver a valuable and meaningful experience that satisfy visitors informational needs,

(2) Motivate visitors to opt in to our eNewsletter as a result of the value delivered in the articles,

(3) Drive ongoing engagement with the content on the website,

(4) Create highly motivating affiliate marketing content to entice readers to further explore marketing partners offers.

The initial launch of the website and post launch will require significant support in therapeutic recovery. Here is a breakdown of the need:

Year 1

  • 20 Articles ~2,500 words each foundational ever green content
  • 52 posts ~1,250 words each (once a week)
  • 15 quizzes ~400 words each (once a month)
  • 1 ebook ~8,000 words (once a year)

Year 1: can be further broken down as follows:

February to May 1, 2018:

  • ~17 Articles ~2,500 words each foundational ever green content
  • ~3 quizzes built from foundational content.
    • ~10 questions with incorrect explanations – each 25 to 50 words not to exceed 300 to 400 words.

May 1 to April 31st, 2019

  • 52 posts ~1,250 words each (once a week)
  • 12 quizzes ~300 to 400 words each tied to existing content (once a month)
  • 1 ebook ~8,000 words (once a year)

Year 2: May 1, 2019 to April 31st, 2020

  • 52 posts ~1,250 words each (once per week)
  • 12 quizzes ~300 to 400 words each tied to existing content (once a month)
  • 1 ebook ~8,000 words (once per year)

 Year 3: May 1, 2020 to April 31st 2021

  • 52 posts ~1,250 words each (once per week)
  • 12 quizzes ~300 to 400 words each tied to existing content (once a month)
  • 1 ebook ~8,000 words (once per year)

Ideally, you’ve been:

  • Writing professionally for at least 3 years
  • Have 5+ years of experience in sports recovery and or injury management
  • You’ve been previously published on sites like HealthIQ etc.
  • Understand and have written sales copy
  • Demonstrated understanding of advance SEO concepts, and will be able to apply those best practices into your writing with ease

Preferred qualifications:

  • A degree in any one of the following areas: physical therapy, athletic training, exercise science and others that cover human physiology, human anatomy, athletic injury prevention, kinesiology, community health, sports nutrition, therapeutic exercise and biomechanics
  • Current experience training in any martial art
  • Proven experience delivering successful affiliate marketing content
  • A portfolio of online articles that have earned a lot of shares on social media
