About the Role
We’re looking for a writer who loves the NFL, knowledgeable, and has sports writing experience. This includes writing about the NFL.
Articles will be a minimum of 2000 words and written about the history of the National Football League. Must be able to write a minimum of 5k words per week. Topics will be given by managing editor.
About the Content
The articles will range from 2000-3000+ words.
All content is to be well researched and include relevant contextual outbound links when it makes sense to do so.
Examples and high-level outlines and training will be provided.
Articles are to be written in a professional tone with no fluff.
The types of content you may be asked to write includes:
- What happened to Ryan Leaf?
- A biography of Dan Marino
- What happened to Johnny Manziel?
Our Ideal Candidate
Can be flexible and does not miss deadlines
Can handle critical feedback and adjust accordingly
Is a native English speaker
Is tech-savvy (understands MS Word, Google Drive, can take screenshots if necessary, etc.)
Has a PayPal account (to get paid)
Experience writing about sports.
Compensation
Payments will be made bi-weekly.
