Seeking freelance writer for SEO blog posts about writing

Scribophile is one of the web's largest independent writing communities. Writers from all over the world exchange feedback on each other's writing and participate in a busy and active community.

We're looking for a freelance writer to help write writing-related educational articles for our Writing Academy at https://www.scribophile.com/academy/

Articles will be about the craft of writing: everything from the basics like grammar tutorials, to advanced topics like the Hero's Journey.

Requirements:

• You must be familiar with SEO best practices. The articles you write must be optimized for search engines and you must be able to effectively incorporate keywords without making the article sound stilted or overstuffed.
• You must be able to effectively research a given topic, synthesize information from various sources, and clearly organize your thoughts to explain the topic to an unfamiliar audience.
• You must be able to meet deadlines and you must be responsive via email.
• Mastery of the English language is required. Our audience is deeply engaged in the craft of writing, and they will not tolerate articles that sound stilted or that appear to be below grade level.
• Experience with Surfer SEO software is a plus but not required.

This will be an ongoing freelance contract, paid monthly.
