The ShoutDreams blogging network is looking for an experienced and highly capable writer who is an expert in WordPress to join our remote team.
This role is open for #Freelancer, #Parttime & #Fulltimer
ShoutDreams is a collection of several blogs including the highly popular and award-winning blog "ShoutMeLoud" & "WPSutra".
The blogs’ contents mostly contain information about blogging, WordPress, SEO, Digital Marketing.
This position requires native-level English, great attention to detail, the ability to work well under pressure, and a willingness to help a lot of people.
At least 2 years of demonstrated experience in WordPress is required.
Key Responsibilities (Not limited to)
- Research WordPress related topics
- Write a well-structured article on WordPress
- Come up with titles for articles
- Update old articles on WordPress as and when required
- Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
- Submit work to editors for input and approval
- Coordinate with the graphic team to illustrate articles
- Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
- Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
- Update website content as needed
Skills/Requirements
- 2+ years of professional writing experience in WordPress
- Familiarity with keyword placement and SEO
- Excellent grammar and writing skills
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Self-motivated and self-directed
