The Opportunity
We're seeking a skilled Script Writer specializing in crime and cartel content for our YouTube channels. If you're passionate about researching true crime stories, understanding criminal organizations, and crafting narratives that keep viewers on the edge of their seats, this role is for you.
What You'll Do
Research and write meticulously fact-checked scripts about crime syndicates, cartel operations, and criminal investigations
Transform complex criminal cases and investigations into engaging, accessible narratives
Source and verify information from court documents, news reports, and credible sources
Include relevant social media references, video links, and supporting documentation
Create content that balances educational value with compelling storytelling
Stay current with breaking crime news and developing stories
Required Qualifications
Proven experience in crime journalism, investigative writing, or true crime content creation
Strong research capabilities with emphasis on fact-verification and source credibility
Exceptional writing skills with ability to handle sensitive topics responsibly
Experience incorporating multimedia references (YouTube videos, social media posts, news clips)
Understanding of legal considerations when covering criminal content
Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
Reliable with excellent attention to detail
