About the Role
We're seeking a talented Script Writer to join our team and create compelling content for our Celebrity YouTube channel. This is a fully remote, freelance position perfect for a creative storyteller who thrives on crafting engaging narratives about celebrity culture and entertainment.
Key Responsibilities
Research and develop original content ideas focused on celebrity stories
Write and edit high-quality scripts optimized for YouTube audiences
Source information from social media, news outlets, and various digital platforms
Transform raw data and research into exciting, engaging narratives
Collaborate with the production team to ensure scripts align with channel vision
Required Qualifications
Proven scriptwriting experience specifically for YouTube or digital platforms
Strong research capabilities with ability to verify sources and find compelling angles
Exceptional writing skills with attention to detail and grammar
Experience in journalistic content creation with emphasis on fact-checking
Ability to write engaging voiceover (VO) scripts
Self-motivated with excellent time management for remote work
Fast turnaround capability while maintaining quality
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in entertainment or celebrity content creation
Familiarity with YouTube analytics and audience engagement strategies
Understanding of current social media trends and viral content
