A ghostwriter is somebody who writes on behalf of another person and allows them to put their name on the finished work. A ghostwriter adapts his/her writing skills to fit each client's needs and develop the client's vision. Also, a ghostwriter makes recommendations on content and style whenever needed. A ghostwriter needs to be aware of this, and comfortable not receiving direct credit for their written work.

Ghostwriting Experience, Skills & Requirements
We're looking to hire experienced romance writers, but other types of fiction writers with a willingness to learn the genre are encouraged to apply.
You must have experience with the romance genre.
Preference is given to those with experience in writing and self-editing romance ebooks of at least 10,000 words in length, but your samples are the number one determining factor in who we choose to hire.
You write memorable romance stories with appropriate levels of tension and suspense, believable dialogue, and outstanding character development.
You understand, as a ghostwriter, that you will receive no official credit for the completed work.
You are a native English writer and speaker residing in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia. All writing must be in US English.
You are a deadline-oriented freelance worker with the capacity of a 3,000-to-4,000-words-per-day writing pace.
You understand what readers want, and you can write to market.
You are available throughout the day to respond to team members and client messages on our platform.
You are reliable, well-spoken, open to constructive criticism, and a good communicator with experience building working relationships with the rest of our team.
How to Become a Ghostwriter & Apply
Please submit three fiction samples (doc, docx, or PDF files only). The length of the samples should be between 1,000 to 2,000 words each. All content on the application and samples will be assessed, so please review your work before submitting. Copyrights of samples must belong to the applicant and will remain in the applicant’s possession.
For verification purposes, if hired, you will be asked to submit a copy of your resume and photo ID.
We receive numerous applications on a daily basis. Please allow at least a week for us to process yours.
