Description
Established and successful design, fabrication and technology site is looking for a ROCK STAR writer and editor to drive our internal empire-building efforts.
We see your role as:
- Writing weekly blog posts and/or how-to articles on current trends in Design, Tech, CAD and FAB.
- Editing and publishing blog posts submitted by contributors
- Daily posts and responses to questions/comments on Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin
- Curation of topical stories for the website
- Video scripts
Topics will be provided and all work reviewed by our Editor or Production Assistant. The position may also expand to include articles for our sister sites, as special writing assignments when needed. You will report directly to the co-founders and be part of the company wide discussions.
We expect you to have:
- Native English speaker preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to connect in real-time chat via Gtalk/Skype/Text.
- Ability to learn new software.
- Ability to work from home.
- Knowledge of HTML, Photoshop.
- Prior experience with WordPress.
- A decent computer for writing and editing images and possibly video.
- Experience writing for blogs and/or journalism experience.
- Willingness attend industry events if desired.

We will pay you:
- An hourly or per-post compensation.
- every two-weeks.
