We’re looking for a meticulous Content Editor & Proofreader who has a keen eye for detail and a passion for refining. Our workflow includes an SEO team that handles research and structuring, followed by a writing team that produces high-quality drafts with a solid self-QA process (leveraging various tools).
Now, we need you! A wordsmith who can elevate our copy, ensuring clarity, engagement, and consistency while maintaining brand voice and SEO considerations.
If you’re experienced in editing, proofreading, and polishing content across multiple formats (blog posts, web pages, email sequences, social media captions, labeled illustrations, etc.), we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit and proofread content for grammar, punctuation, and style
Ensure clarity, readability, and logical flow
Refine tone and voice to match brand guidelines
Check for factual accuracy and consistency
Maintain SEO best practices without over-optimizing
Provide constructive feedback to writers when necessary
Requirements:
Proven experience as a content editor or proofreader
Strong command of grammar, syntax, and storytelling techniques
Familiarity with SEO best practices and content optimization
Experience editing content in industries such as healthcare, wellness, digital marketing, or B2B services is a plus
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects efficiently
Comfortable using collaboration tools like Google Docs, Grammarly, Hemingway Editor, or other QA tools
