Android Authority is on the prowl for alpha writers.
We’re not a content mill, and we’re not looking for beginners. We need established writers who know the tech industry backwards and forwards.They need to be able to turn around copy on a dime.
Android Authority is one of the largest publications dedicated to the world’s most widely used operating system. We’re growing too fast, and the tech industry happens at light speed.
We need savvy pros who can react to a development on the fly, quickly analyze the situation, and hit back hard with style, finesse, and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Excellent WordPress skills
- Intimate familiarity with technology and the tech industry
- 2+ years of full-time writing/journalism experience preferred
- A voice with attitude
- Rapid turnaround speed
- Writing that needs little or no editing
- Research skills
Compensation
Payment will vary depending on experience and quality of samples. We pay industry professional rates.
This position begins as freelance but may become full-time if we dig your writing and work ethic. We also love promoting from within, so there’s a lot of potential for future growth.
The Work
This is a work-from-anywhere position. You’ll collaborate with our team of writers and editors to respond to the goings-on in the tech world in real time. Although our primary interest is naturally mobile tech, this branch of technology is increasingly sneaking its way into many aspects of the industry and our lives, so there will be a lot of variety to cover.
You will need to be able to verify sources and fact-check related articles. English first-language is a must.
