Pickleball content writer

Role Overview

We are seeking a commercial content editor that can research and write pickleball gear reviews, buyer’s guides and product recommendation articles on pickleheads.com

Commitment

• ~20 hours per week, as needed by work assignments
• $/word rate negotiable

Job responsibilities include:

• Research and compile top product lists for buyer’s guides
• Write thorough product reviews and comparisons through the “tested perspective”
• Adhere to briefs
• Write clear copy to educate and engage our readers
• Prepare well-structured drafts
• Proofread and edit blog posts before submission
• Submit work to editors for input and approval

Skills required:

• Fluent English
• Deep experience writing reviews, buyer’s guides and product recommendation articles
• Ability to write in an authoritative, yet conversational voice
• Ability to perform deep research
• Portfolio of published commercial articles
• Experience researching technical subjects like health & wellness and sports
• Positive attitude
• Requirement: actively plays pickleball
