The Role: We are a 20-person B2B software company looking for a sharp, technical freelance writer to help us engage Tier 1 prospects (lubricant and petroleum distributors with 50–200 trucks). You will be ghostwriting for our CEO/CTO, turning high-level technical insights into authoritative content that speaks directly to fleet owners and GMs.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Interview to Asset: Participate in or listen to a 20-minute technical download with our CEO and transform it into a 1,000-word deep-dive article.
LinkedIn Ghostwriting: Distill long-form content into 3–4 punchy, high-authority LinkedIn posts for our executive team.
Sales Enablement: Draft 1-paragraph "Executive Summaries" that our salesperson can use to share your content with high-value targets.
Requirements:
Industry Knowledge: You must be comfortable writing about logistics, supply chain, fleet management, or industrial software. If you know the difference between an ERP integration and a tank monitor, we want to talk to you.
Tone: No fluff. Our audience hates "marketing-speak." You must be able to write in a peer-to-peer, authoritative tone that focuses on ROI, compliance, and efficiency.
Workflow: We manage production in Pipedrive Projects. You should be comfortable moving cards through a pipeline and meeting deadines without hand-holding.
Budget: $1,200 - $1,500/mo (Retainer preferred).
